The annual general meeting, or AGM, is held within the region served by the Students' Union and each campus council sends delegates as voting members to the meeting.

The role of the AGM is to adopt the audit, appoint the auditor for the coming year, receive the report of the Executive Committee and consider any motions that have been served with notice. Motions considered at a general meeting often involve amendments to the constistution and bylaws of the Students' Union or adoption of new procedures or processes.
