North Island Students’ Union’s 2026 General Election is upcoming!
Seeking up to 25 current North Island College students to contribute time and energy to the Students’ Union.
Nomination forms to become a Union Representative will be available starting January 26 at 9:00 and are due no later than February 6, 4:00 pm.
The term of office is April 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027.
Students who are expecting to be in classes at North Island College until April 2027 are best suited to become Union Representatives.
Union Reps help plan and run events, help out in NISU offices and support the services and advocacy of the Students’ Union.
From the Union Representatives, up to six students are further elected to the Board of Directors. The term for Directors is May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027.
